Hot Dog Stew Recipe

This recipe is really simple and tasty - my kids and grandkids love it! Kielbasa may be substituted for hot dogs.

Ingredients

1 pkg. hot dogs (beef preferred) or 1 pkg. kielbasa
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
i sm. onion, chopped
5 med. potatoes, peeled and chopped into 8 pieces.
1 32-oz. can tomato sauce
salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Cut hot dogs into 3 pieces each (or slice kielbasa into 1 in. pieces). After you chop green pepper, onion and potatoes into medium pieces, add the vegetables and hot dog slices into large sauce pan. Next, add the tomato sauce and cook on medium low heat until potatoes are soft. You can do this in a crock pot also on low for about 2 hours.
