Under General+ creamy+ dessert+ fruit+ no bake
Serve this tasty hybrid salad/dessert at a Christmas dinner.

Ingredients
* 2 pkgs. lg. lime gelatin
* 6 C. water
* 1 sm. container whipping cream
* 1 lg. pkg. cream cheese
* 1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
* 1 jar maraschino cherries, cut up
* 1 C. walnuts, crushed
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in 3 C. boiling water. Add 3 C. cold water and 1 C. pineapple juice. Chill in refrigerator until partially set. Whip the cream and add the soft cream cheese. Whip together. Add the gelatin and whip all together well. Fold in pineapple, cherries and walnuts to the preceding mixture. Put in a large ring mold. Put in refrigerator overnight. Unmold and put in platter.

This is an easy-to-make recipe that works well being prepped a day a head of time!

Time Needed: 10 minutes preparation + 70 minutes cooking
Ingredients
1 bulb garlic, unpeeled
2 tsp. olive oil
1 15-oz. can great northern beans, drained, 2 Tbs. liquid reserved
3 Tbs. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
Chopped fresh parsley
4 pita brads, each cut into 8 wedges
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut 1/2-inch slice off top of garlic bulb. Drizzle oil over garlic bulb. Wrap garlic in foil. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until garlic is soft with pierced with a knife. Cool slightly, about 10 minutes. Squeeze garlic into food processor. Add beans, reserved bean liquid, lemon juice and salt. Cover; process until uniform consistency. Spoon dip into serving dish. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with pita bread wedges.

Ingredients
two 10-oz. cans bean dip
one 1/2-oz. package taco seasoning
6 green chopped green onions
1 C. mayo
1 C. sour cream
1-4 1/2-oz. cans sliced olives
Directions
Combine bean dip and taco mix and spread in a 10″ pie plate. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top. Mix mayo and sour cream and spread over onions. Sprinkle olives on top. Chill and serve with tortilla chips.

Ingredients
8 oz. uncooked rotelle, pasta shells, or elbow macaroni
2 C. small broccoli florets
2 medium carrots, peeled and slices diagonally
1/2 C. pitted black olives
1/2 C. cooked fresh corn kernels (or frozen corn kernels, thawed)
1/3 C. vinaigrette or dressing of your choice
salt to taste
Directions
Cook the pasta according to package directions. Just before it’s done, add the broccoli and carrots to the water and allow to cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Drain and rinse pasta and veggies until cool. Combine with olives, dressing, and corn in a large bowl. Season with salt.

Ingredients
1 1/2 Tbs. Kraft Balsamic Vinaigrette with Olive Oil or Kraft Greek Vinaigrette with Olive Oil
Leftover oven-roasted turkey
Lettuce
Tomato
Whole wheat tortillas
Directions
Tear leftover turkey into chunks. Take a tortilla and place lettuce, tomato and turkey on it. Pour 1-1 1/2 Tbs. vinaigrette on top and wrap, making sure you close both ends. Cut at an angle and serve with some low fat cottage cheese or yogurt.

Under no bake
I made these for Easter. Forgot to buy some so I had to whip something up. My husband loves them. He wants them all the time now. Great with morning coffee. Try warming in the oven! They are even better! I intend to use these in a Victorian tea party I am catering next month.
