This chicken casserole is different from any other you’ve had before!

Ingredients
* 2 Tbs. butter
* 1/2 large onion, chopped
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 2/3 C. millet
* one 10 1/2-oz. can beef broth
* 2 C. chopped chicken, cooked
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a skillet and saute the onion and garlic over medium heat. Add millet and brown lightly. Stir in beef broth and chicken, then pour into a 2-quart casserole dish. Cover dish and bake for about 45 minutes, or until millet is tender.

Ingredients
- 1 8-oz. pkg. noodles
- 1 lb. small curd cottage cheese
- 1 C. raisins
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 C. bread crumbs
- 1/4 C. butter
- seasoning, to taste
Directions
Cook and drain noodles. In a bowl, mix slightly beaten egg, vanilla and cottage cheese. Season to taste. Into a greased 2-qt. casserole dish, add layers of noodles and cottage cheese. Sprinkle with raisins, then again noodles, cottage cheese, raisins, and finally end up with a layer of noodles. Mix bread crumbs with the melted butter and spread on top. Bake, uncovered, 30-35 minutes in oven at 375 degrees.

1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
18 oz. sour cream
Directions
Brown the beef and drain. Return to the skillet and add the remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes and serve over noodles or rice.

Ingredients
1 lb. cooked macaroni
3 lbs. ground beef
4 oz. chopped onion
1 1/2 oz. celery, weighed
2 qts. canned tomatoes
1 qt. tomato puree
Directions
Brown ground beef and add onions and celery. Add tomtoes and cook for 20 minutes. Salt to taste. Add macaroni and heat thoroughly, about 5 minutes.

4 C. smashed crackers
4 eggs
1 stick butter
2 Tbs. marjoram
1 1/2 C. mozzarella cheese, grated
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Spray a 9×13 pan and place ingredients in it and bake for 30-45 minutes or until done.

This is a very simple and cheap recipe to make for a main meal during dinner time. I use to make this in college and I still love it.

Ingredients
1 lb. pkg. of egg noodles
2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
2 jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce
16 oz. shredded cheese, any kind
Directions
Pour egg noodles in a large pot, add water to cover noodles and heat to boiling. Drain noodles when they are done. Poor noodles back into pot, add cooked ground beef and spaghetti sauce. Stir until everything is blended well. Spoon enough mixture into a 9×13 casserole or cake pan to fill it half full. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over mixture. Add a second layer of mixture and sprinkle more cheese over the top. Place in a 400-degree oven for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.

1 medium bell pepper, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 can red kidney beans, drained
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1/4 - 1/2 C. bacon bits
1/4 C. sweet pickle relish

3/4 C. mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 C. sweet pickle juice
